Step one: Select the printer you wish to use from your local file server.

For example,

Take your mouse and click on 'File' then 'Print Setup'.

Then highlight whichever printer you wish to print to and then click on 'OK'.

Step two: Go into SIS, in MGMT under PRT and indicate one of these three printer options; HP, EP or IB. The selection will depend on the printers' emulation. If you are not sure, please contact your technology coordinator.

HP is for Hewlett Packard emulation

EP is for Epson emulation

IB is for IBM emulation

For example,

As shown in my above example, HP is indicated under the 'Prt' field because the printer I selected in step one emulates as a Hewlett Packard.

If you would like to switch to another printer on your local file server you would repeat the above steps.
