
1. Outstanding support from the community for school needs and activities.
- The business community donates thousands of dollars annually to special school projects.
- There are numerous parent and community people involved in volunteer projects, booster clubs, and special needs projects.
- School events such as concerts, athletic events, P.T.O. programs- plays, etc., are very well attended.
2. Utilizing H.B. 264 and Federal energy conservation grants, school facility improvements were made including:
- Jefferson Middle School purchased new windows.
- Energy efficient lighting is system-wide.
- Computer operated heating controls are system-wide.
- A conversion of Jefferson Senior High School from total electric heating to natural gas heating
3. In March, 2004, voters approved a 2.25 mill, five year term, Improvement Issue to purchase new school buses, as well as to maintain and repair our school facilities and property.
4. In November, 2004, voters approved a 5.50 mill, five year term, Operating Issue in order to allow Delphos City Schools to continue providing our students and our community with quality academic and extra-curricular activities.
