Franklin Receives State Recognition!

I am pleased to announce that our school has achieved state recognition.  Franklin Elementary has received the State Superintendent’s School of Promise award for the 2006-2007 school year.  This is a very prestigious award.  We are one of only 194 school buildings across the State of Ohio to achieve this recognition and the only school in Allen County .  Attached to this newsletter is a copy of the letter we received from Susan Tave Zelman, superintendent of Public Instruction notifying us of this award.  We also received a banner which is on display in the display case outside the office.  We could not have achieved this recognition without the hard work of our staff with your children and your support of what we do.  Thank you!
