Marine Biology Trip 2000
"Andros Island"
Andros Island is the largest Island in the Bahamas. It is also known as "The Village by the Sea" or "The Bone-Fishing Capital of the World". It is the home to many types of sea life. And is the third largest barrier reef in the world. It holds about 8,000 people most of which live on the east side of the island. Most people are attracted to the island because of the wonderful snorkel and dive sites that surround it.
