"The Sponge Farm"

The Sponge Farm is located in Red Bays. Red Bays is the only settlement on the western side of the island. While you are driving to Red Bays you can observe the land make-up. It changes from pineyard to coppice to swash to tidal flats and back again. Once you arrive at Red Bays you can watch them sponging off of the dock. It is the only place on the island where sponging is consistently good. At red bay you can also visit with Mrs. Marshall, the bush doctor, Scrap Iron Colebrook, the wild boar hunter, and Henry Wallace and family, the famous wood carver. This is also a great place to buy baskets at a really cheep cost. And while we were there we even got to see the children from Red Bays Primary School.

At the sponging farm we watched them cut and clean the sponges.

"Squid Dissection"

Lori dissects a squid on the day that it rained.	We all used the squid ink to write on ourselves.
Here you can see Jesse and A.J. working on their squid.	Jesse was really getting into this squid thing.
Here you can see Keri and Leah were partners, and Lori and I were partners.	Once again Keri and Leah are working with Lori beside them. You can also see Rachel and Amanda at work.

"Androsia"

At Androsia they hand stamp their material	Then they rinse it out at 300 degree.

"Others"

On the day that it rained we wore garbage bags as our rain gear.
Jesse is just relaxing by the beach.	Jonel and Ashley are chillin by the beach.
