Mr. John Edinger

Principal

Mr. John Edinger has been teaching and coaching since 1985. He started at Jefferson in 2005 as principal. He received his B.A. at Bluffton College and his masters at Bowling Green University.

He and his wife Sharon have two children, Emily and Darren.

Mr. Martin Ross

Guidance Page

Guidance Counselor

Mr. Ross has been at Jefferson since 1998.  He is currently the Guidance Counselor.  Mr. Ross received his Bachelors at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.  He then received his Master's at The University of Dayton.

Mr. Ross and his wife Lisa have two children, Logan and Makenzie.

Mrs. Jane Rahrig

Secretary

Mrs. Rahrig has been at Jefferson since 1992.  She is currently the secretary at the high school.  Mrs. Rahrig attended the International Business College..

Mrs. Rahrig and her husband  M.J., and have 3 children, Julie, Tina, and Lynsey, and a son-in-law John and Matt. She also has a granddaughter Ava.

Mrs. Elaine Rode

Attendance Secretary

Mrs. Rode has been at Jefferson since 2006.  She is currently the attendance secretary. Mrs. Rode attended the University of Northwestern Ohio.

She and her husband Gary have six children.  They are Brad, Derek, Ashley, Justin, Adam, and Michelle.

Mrs. Linda Baker

Librarian

Mrs. Baker has been at Jefferson since 1980.  She is the librarian.  Mrs. Baker received both her Bachelor's Science Degree and Master's Science Degree at Bowling Green State University.

Mrs. Baker has two children, James and Michele.

Mrs. Judy Bevington

Math

Mrs. Bevington has been teaching since 1992. She started at Jefferson in 2005. She received her teaching degree from San Diego State University.

Mrs. Bevington and her husband Randy have two children, Cade and Cassidy.

Mrs. Lucy Bambauer

Vocational Education

Mrs. Bambauer started her teaching career in 2005 at Jefferson. She is currently teaching Ag Service Learning. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture from the Ohio State University. She is currently working  on getting her master's from the University of Dayton.

Mrs. Stephanie Braun

Math

Mrs. Braun has been at Jefferson since 1997.  She is currently teaching Pre Calculus Algebra 1, Algebra 101, Algebra 201,  8th grade Algebra 1, 8th & 7th Grade Math  Mrs. Braun graduated from Bluffton University with her B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science Degree.

Mrs. Braun is married to Eric.  They have a son, Conner and a daughter, Samantha.

Mrs. Heather Brickner

Multiple Handicapped

Mrs. Brickner has been teaching for three years, 2005 being the first year at Jefferson. She received a degree in special ed from Bowling Green State University.

Mrs. Brickner is married to Michael. They have two dogs Sassy and Hank.

Mr. Chad Brinkman

History

Mr. Brinkman has been at Jefferson since 1999.  He is currently teaching American History II, Geography, and Current Events.  Mr. Brinkman received his Bachelors of Arts at The Ohio State University and his Master's at Urbana University.                                                   

Mr. Brinkman is married to Jen Brinkman, and they have two daughters, Emma and Carly.

Intervention Specialist

Mrs. Brinkman has been at Jefferson since 2001.  She is currently an intervention specialist that teaches English, Math, Current Issues, Science and inclusion classes.  Mrs. Brinkman attended Bowling Green State University.

Mr. Scott Elwer

Ag Science

Mr. Elwer has been at Jefferson since 1997.  He is currently teaching Agricultural Business I and II and Agriculture Research and Mechanics.  Mr. Elwer received his Bachelors of Science at The Ohio State University and his Master's of Science at The University of Dayton.

Mrs.  Linda Hefner

English

Mrs. Hefner has been teaching at Jefferson since 1985. She is currently teaching English. Mrs. Hefner graduated from Findlay University with a B.A. plus 150 hours.

Mrs. Hefner is married to Gary. They have two children, Nathan and Lindsay.

Miss Lori Hicks

Proficiency Tutor

Miss Hicks has been teaching at Jefferson since 2001.  She is currently is an Intervention Specialist where she teaches English, Math, Current Issues, and Proficiency Teacher.  Miss Hicks graduated from Bowling Green State University and The Ohio State University.

Mrs. Joyce Larimore

Family Consumer Sciences

Mrs. Larimore has been at Jefferson since 1974.  She is currently teaching Foods I and II, Parenting, and Textiles.  Mrs. Larimore received her undergraduate degree at Miami University.  She received her graduate degree at Dayton University.

Mr. Jamie Lewis

Industrial Arts

Mr. Lewis has been at Jefferson since 1988.  He is currently teaching Industrial Technology 1-4 and Technical Drawing.  Mr. Lewis received his Bachelors of Science at Ohio Northern University, and attended The University of Dayton, and The University of Findlay. Mr. Lewis is also the Coach of the Junior Varsity girls basketball.

Mr. Troy Montenery

Computer Applications

Mr. Montenery started teaching at Jefferson in 2002.  He is currently teaching the  Wildcat Company.  He received his Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration at The Ohio State University, and his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Dayton.

Mr. Montenery and his wife Sue have two children, Jaret and Luke.  He is also the head coach of the baseball team.

Mr. Jim Morris

History

Mr. Morris has been at Jefferson since 1973.  He is currently teaching World History, American History, Economics, and Government.  Mr. Morris attended The University of Ohio State.

Mr. Morris will be retired as of March 31, 2008.  His permanent substitute will be Mr. John Vennekotter.

Mr. Morris and his wife Pam have three children, Ryan, Jamie, and Zach.

Mr. Amos Place

Science

Mr. Place started at Jefferson after teaching at Jefferson Middle School and Elmwood High School.  He is currently teaching Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, and Introductory Physical Science.

Mr. Jeffery Rex

Science

Mr. Rex has been at Jefferson since 1995.  He is currently teaching Science 9, Biology 1, Biology 2, and Earth Science.  Mr. Rex graduated from The University of Toledo.

Mr. Rex is married to Robin, and they have a son, Ian.

Mr. Doug Sanders

Health and P.E.

Mr. Sanders is a graduate of Bluffton University. He has a degree in Physical Education and health. He plans to be assistant track coach at Jefferson in the spring.

He is married and has two children Tim and Courtney.

Mrs. Christine Siebeneck

English

Mrs. Siebeneck started at Delphos Jefferson High School in 2003, after being a long term substitute.  She teaches the English I and English II classes at Jefferson.  Mrs. Siebeneck graduated from Kalida High School and Defiance College. 

She and her husband Craig have two children, Caleb and Cameron.

Mrs. Julie Stager

Multiple Handicap

Mrs. Stager started at Jefferson in 2001. She is a teachers aide in the Multiple Handicapped room. Mrs. Stager graduated from Lima Technical College and received her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development.

Mrs. Stager is married to Keith. They have a Basset Hound, Libby and a cat, Isabella.

Mr. David Stearns

Concert & Marching Band

  Previously Mr. Stearns was the assistant high school band director and jr. high band director at the Middle school.  He came to Jefferson from Leipsic in the Fall of 1982.

Mrs. Kathy Ulrich

Spanish

Mrs.Ulrich has been at Jefferson since 1986.  Mrs. Ulrich received her Bachelor's of Art at Capital University.  She is currently teaching Spanish I, II, III, IV, exploratory Spanish, Speech, College Prep Reading, and Radio and Video Production.

Mrs. Beth Von der Embse

Art

Mrs. Von der Embse has been at Jefferson since 1991.  She is currently teaching Art I and Advanced Art.  Mrs. Von der Embse received her Bachelors of Art from Bowling Green State University and her Master's of Art from Wright State University.

Mrs. Vera White

English

Mrs. White has been teaching at Jefferson since 1999.  She is currently teaching English III, College Prep English III, Applied Communications, and Creative Writing. She attended Edinboro University in Pennsylvania receiving her Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education.

Mrs. Teri Wiechart

French

Mrs. Wiechart has been teaching at Jefferson since 1975.  Mrs. Wiechart received her Bachelor's of Art at Purdue University and received her MAT degree from Bowling Green State University.  She is currently teaching French I, II, III, IV, and V.

Mrs. Tammy Wirth

Choir

Mrs. Wirth starting teaching in 2007.  She currently teaches HS Concert Choir, HS Show Choir, MS General Music and Choir, and Franklin Music grades 4 and 5.  She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Wirth and her husband, Doug, have two sons, Matthew 16, and Bradley 15.

Miss Yoder has been teaching at Jefferson since 1984.  She is currently teaching Geometry, Integrated I and Integrated II.  Miss Yoder received her BA in mathematics from Bluffton University, along with her MaEd.

Mrs. Brenda McKee

Food Service Director

Mrs. McKee serves as the food service director.  She is in charge of things such as planning menus, ordering food and supplies, and overseeing the cafeteria staff.  She started here as a substitute cook and was hired as a part of food service staff in 1986.  She assumed the food service director position in 1998.

Mr. Subler is currently the janitor at the high school.

Mr. Hoffman has been at Jefferson since 1982.  He is currently the Athletic Director.  He graduated from Ohio State University.

Mrs. Stacy Ricker

School Nurse

Mrs. Ricker is the school nurse for Franklin Elementary, Jefferson Middle School, Jefferson High School, and Landeck Elementary. She has been employed with Delphos City Schools since 1999 with four years critical care nursing experience prior to school nursing. Mrs. Ricker received her Bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University/Medical College of Ohio and holds a permanent School Nurse License with the Ohio Department of Education. Mrs. Ricker received her Master's Degree from Wright State University in 2007 and passed the National School Nurse Certification exam in July of 2007.

Mrs. Ricker is Married to Eric and they have three sons, Devin, Blake, and Brady.
