DELPHOS — Jefferson’s track teams opened with victories Wednesday night in a triangular meet held at the Scott Memorial Track in Delphos.

The boys held off Allen East and Bluffton 61.5-58-55.5 in a tight battle.

The Lady Wildcats also needed to hold off the Lady Pirates 77-69, with the Lady Mustangs compiling 17 points.

Jefferson hosts Fort Jennings and Spencerville Tuesday (4:30 p.m. start time)
