  Career Planning

ACT - The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Writing. ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States.

SAT - The SAT is a national college admissions examination that nearly every college in America accepts as a part of its admissions process.

  Local Colleges

FAFSA - The Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be filed by any student who plans to attend a college or university and wishes to be eligible for monetary aid. Obtain Personal Identification Number (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov

NCAA Clearinghouse - This site provides information and guidance for high school students who plan to participate in collegiate athletics at an NCAA college or university. 

  Referral Guide

This is an online version of the printed Referral Guide (abbreviated list of mental health professionals in the area) made available by the Guidance Department of Spencerville Schools.  

  ODE

OGT - Beginning with the high school graduating class of 2007, students must pass all five parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) in order to receive high school diplomas.  The OGT replaces the Ohio Ninth-Grade Proficiency Tests.

  PSEOP

Post Secondary Enrollment Information - The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program provides ninth, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade students with an opportunity to take classes at eligible post-secondary institutions. These institutions include community colleges, post-secondary vocational technical institutions, state universities, and many private colleges and universities.
