Education: Sara graduated from Shawnee High School. Family: Sara has a husband named John, three sons named Kyle, Keenan, and Kurtis, and a chocolate lab named Kacey. Hobbies: Sara likes to watch her boys play sports, go boating, and be involved at her church. Alternative Career: In the counseling field. |

Inspiration: Teresa loved school as a young student and had numerous teachers who inspired her to become an educator. Career: At Spencerville for 22 years - Special Education for 6 years and School Psychologist for 16 years. Education: Graduated from Spencerville High School in 1974, from Bowling Green State University in 1978 with a B.S. in Special Education, and from Wright State University in 1989 with a M.Ed. in School Psychology. Family: Teresa has a husband Ted, retired from a very successful 35 year career in education, and two sons - Luke and Nathan. She also has a dog and two cats. Hobbies: Enjoys reading, working puzzles, singing in her church choir and most especially spending time with her family. Alternative Career: Something in the field of music. |

Inspiration: Sherri was most inspired to become an educator by her 11th grade English teacher, who encouraged a love of words and literature in all her students. Sherri liked working with "words" and also liked working with students in small groups. Speech therapy allowed her to combine both of her "likes". Career: Sherri has been working at Spencerville for 14 years, and worked 2 1/2 years at St. Rita's Medical Center before that as a speech therapist. Education: Sherri's Bachelor's degree is from the University of Toledo and her Master of Science degree is from Bowling Green State University in Speech Science or Speech/Language Pathology. Family: Sherri has a husband named Jim, two step-daughters named Jennifer and Denise, a granddaughter named Alexis, and an 8 year old lab named Libby. |

Inspiration:
Several people in Joel's life influenced him to become an educator. He was pretty close to his grandfather who was an educator for 47 years. Career: Joel has been employed by Spencerville schools since 1978. He was a middle school Social studies teacher for 13 years, became H.S. principal, and then was hired as the Superintendent 9 years ago. Education: Joel attended Waynesfield-Goshen for 11 years and graduated from Kenton Sr. High. He aquired his Bachelors of Science degree at Ohio State University, his Masters of Science degree at University of Dayton, and post graduate at University of Dayton and Walsh. Family: Joel is married and has three children and two cats. Hobbies: In his free time, Joel likes to do yard work and some woodworking. Alternative Career: If Joel wasn't an administrator, he would like to be a teacher again. |
