Welcome to the Wapakoneta City Schools’ district website.  We hope that you find this site informative and useful, as a community member or a visitor.  The Wapakoneta City Schools works hard each and every day to try to provide a caring place to develop responsible, productive citizens.  Part of this responsibility is properly educating students in their basic academic areas and providing opportunities for children to have a variety of experiences.  This includes advanced placement, vocational education, college preparatory, band, agriculture, music programs, and athletics.

With support from the community, Wapakoneta City Schools is blessed to have passed a bond issue on November 6, 2007,  for participation in an Ohio School Facilities Commission project.  We are currently working towards building schools for this generation and the next several generations of students.  Please visit the “Links of Interest” at the right of this page and click on “OSFC Project” for the most recent updates on the project.  We are very proud to be able to serve a community that has demonstrated a great deal of pride in the district, and we are extremely thankful for all the support we receive.
