1. Follow all directions the first time they are given

2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself

3. Raise your hand and wait to be called on before you speak

4. Be prepared for class with homework, books, and pencils

5. No back talk, teasing, or swearing

Consequences if rules are broken:

Behavior

1. Disrespect toward teachers and others = entry on card

2. Disrespect for property = entry on card

Three marks on a card equals one noon recess taken away for misbehavior. Six marks on a card equals one after school detention. Nine marks on a card equals one Saturday school.

Responsibility

1. Forgotten assignment = entry on card

2. Late assignment = entry on card

If an assignment is not turned in on the due date, it must be turned in no later than the next school day. One letter grade drop will be given for the late assignment. Example: B drop to a C. If the assignment is not turned in the next school day after the due date, a 0% will be given.

Rewards

If a student does not have any entries on the Discipline Card for the entire week he/she will receive a sticker for their card. Every student earning at least six stickers during a nine week grading period is entitled to attend the reward party. Those students not earning at least six stickers during the nine week period will go to another room and do extra work.
