Sometimes needed to make a CD run properly.

Step 1:  Click on Start.
Step 2:  Click on Settings.
Step 3:  Click on Control Panel.
Step 4:  Double click on Display.
Step 5:  Click on the tab labeled Settings.
Step 6:  In the box labeled Color palette, find the down arrow and click on it.
Step 7:  Move mouse arrow to highlight 256 Color and click your left mouse button.
Step 8:  Click on the Apply box at the bottom of the dialog box.
Step 9:  Click on OK.
Step 10:  Your machine may prompt you to reboot, choose Yes to reboot.

*** Note:  Students do NOT have the ability to change a machine to 256 colors – only teachers.
