Using Citrix on Computers in the School

On some machines there is a different route you have to take to get to the Office Products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word).  Here are the basic instructions.

First, log into your computer as normal.  If you go to Start, then Programs and you don’t have any Office products, you will need to do the following to get to them.

Look in the lower right hand corner of your screen.  There should be an icon that looks like this.

 

 

 

Right mouse click on this icon and you will get this menu.  If you scroll up to Applications, you will get all of the Office Products available to you on the server.  Just left mouse click on the application that you want to run. 

After you click on the application, you will be connected to the new Citrix server.  You should see a screen that looks something like this.

 

 

Next, you may get a screen that looks something like the following screen.  You can just click on OK here.

 

From here things should work just like they normally do.  Your files are still saved on the server just like before.
