To personalize your machine.  SHOULD NOT BE DONE BY STUDENTS!

Step 1:  Click on Start.
Step 2:  Click on Settings.
Step 3:  Click on Control Panel.
Step 4:  Double click on Mouse.
Step 5:  Click on the tab labeled Pointers.
Step 6:  Click on the down arrow button underneath scheme.
Step 7:  Choose one of the schemes by either clicking on it with your left mouse button or using your arrow keys and hitting enter.
Step 8:  It will show you what your mouse pointer (arrow) will look like with that scheme.
Step 9:  Click on Apply.
Step 10:  Click on OK.

You can also change your mouse to a Left Handed mouse by following steps 1-4 and choosing Left Handed under the Buttons tab.
