| WORKING WITH THE RECYCLE BIN |
If
you have cleaned up your files by putting them in the recycle bin, you must
empty the recycle bin before you will free up any space on your computer.
Step
1: Double click on the Recycle Bin
icon.
Step 2: Click on File and choose
Empty Recycle Bin.
Step 3: It will ask you if you want
to delete how ever many items are in there or it will
name the item if you have only one item in there.
Click on Yes. Your recycle
bin is now empty.
If
you have sent something to the recycle bin and decided that you wanted to keep
it you do the following steps.
Step
1: Double click on the Recycle Bin
icon.
Step 2: Highlight the document that
you want to retrieve.
Step 3: Click on File and choose
Restore.
Step 4: That file will now be back
in its original place in the computer.
***Files
that you delete from the Server will NOT go to your recycle bin.
If you need one of those back after you’ve deleted it, you must contact
the Technology Coordinator IMMEDIATELY.
