MicroSoft Word FAQ's
Question:  In Microsoft Word I ALWAYS have a problem with indentation and tabbing when it does it automatically.  It usually is at a time I don't want it indented and then it is hard to "undo" it.
Answer:  If you are numbering and it starts automatically numbering for you and you don't want this, do the following:
1.  Go to the Tools menu
2.  Go to the AutoCorrect
3.  Click on the AutoFormat as You Type tab
4.  Unselect the automatic bulleted list and automatic number list

Question:  How do I get font size and centering buttons back on my screen in Word?  What made them disappear?
Answer:  In Word, click on Tools and Customize.  Make sure the Toolbars tab is chosen and make sure the formatting box is checked.
Why would it disappear?  Sometimes in Word, if different options aren’t used a lot, they don’t appear on your screen anymore.  You may have accidentally unclicked that button at another time also.

Question:  How do I import graphics from the internet to Word?
Answer:  When you find a picture that you like, right mouse click on it.  One of the options should be “Save picture as…”.  Click on that and it will give you a dialog box asking where you want to save it.  Find your home directory and put it in there somewhere – that way you will have that graphic or image on whatever computer you log on to.
