Guidance Meeting with SENIORS
Fall 2008
Seniors,
You should use this timeline as a “checklist” throughout the year. Share it with your parents, and place it somewhere easy to find. This is a very important year for all of you, and I want you to be prepared!
Mrs. Kaiser
September
ü Begin a “senior file” to keep important documents (transcripts, college applications, acceptance letters, test scores, scholarship applications, etc.). You might want to use the white ICF folder that was given to you today.
ü If you are considering college, sign up to take the ACT in October. Registration deadline is September 19. More information is in the September Guidance Newsletter: read the fine printJ
ü If I give you one, return your “transcript release” form to the guidance office by October 1.
ü Review your FRHS transcript for mistakes! See Mrs. Kaiser immediately if anything on your transcript is incorrect.
ü Attend some of the college visitations at FRHS (see attached). There are two local college fairs (Coldwater and St. Marys). Check the calendar outside the office for updates to this list. You must sign up in advance to attend these presentations.
