Throughout the year we are going to be reading many books and doing many projects about the books. Some of our projects will be posted so you can view them.
In language arts we read a book called Izzy,Willy-Nilly. The story was about a girl that was in a drinking and driving accident. She became disabled and had to deal with the hardships. We did six projects on the book, and three of them are posted so you can see them. My group included Kylie, Wes, and Brady.
Another project we did was called Fort Recovery Treasures. We were put in groups to pick 4 places in Fort Recovery that are treasures to our town. My group included Kelly, Kelly, and Melissa. This was an idea from the book The Treasures of Lemon Brown. The 4 treasures we did were the forts and the museum, the school bell, the train tracks, and the grave of a Shawnee Indian.
