Our Izzy, Willy Nilly Projects

This year in  LA we read a book called Izzy, Willy Nilly. This book was about a girl who became disabled in a drinking and driving accident.  After we were done reading this book we worked on 6 different projects with a group.  Melissa, Kelly, Eric, and Jesse were in my group.  Posted below are 3 of the 6 projects.  The 3 projects that we posted was the diamante, report card, and a survey.

Our first project is the diamante poem. This poem is all about Izzy and how she is two different people combined into one.  We described how she has a different personality on the outside than on the inside.

Our report cards were based off of friendship and the different characteristics that make up a good relationship. We even had to make a report card for a bad friend.  The bad friend report card showed that a bad friend wouldn't be a good friend to be around.

The survey was our third and final project that we posted.  The survey was based on drinking and driving. We gave this to the 7th grade class at our school. We were very happy with our results because the 7th graders gave us an idea on what 7th graders think about drinking and driving.

Community Treasures is another project that we have done in LA.  For this project we had to choose 4 different sites in our home town, Fort Recovery.  I worked on this project with two other people, Alison and Joanna.  The four different sites that we chose were Schmitt Fur Farm, our school, Fort Recovery Museum, and our Fort Recovery forts.  Though we only posted two of our four sites we thought all of these places were great treasures to Fort Recovery. I really enjoyed doing this project, and I hope you enjoy looking at it.
