This year in language arts we read a book called Izzy, Willy-Nilly. After reading this book we did group projects. My group included Matt Bauer, Betsy Tobe, Ali Schmitt, and myself.
Our first project was a survey. We distributed a survey to 65 sixth graders and put the results into graphs.
Our second project was a book review. We described the problems and events of the story and put it in a newspaper format.
Our third project was a friend report card. We designed a rubric that included characteristics that we thought were important qualities to have in a good friend.
