Board went into executive session to discuss negotiations and review Master Contract with members of the Fort Recovery Education Association.

Administrative Reports

Mrs. Koch:

* Informed the Board of the progress of the financial end of year tasks.

Mrs. Vaughn:

* Discussed the results of the OAT tests.

* Distributed results of parent, teacher, student surveys.

Mr. Shuttleworth:

* Also discussed the results of the OAT tests and distributed a handout.

Mr. Riel:

* Reviewed the recommended lunch prices, student and preschool fees for the upcoming year.

* Discussed upcoming events: Administrative retreat July 15-18 and August 8 Board retreat.

* Informed the Board that Fort Recovery will need a representative on the Tri Star Advisory Board.

* Reminded the Board of the filing deadline, August 23^rd, for Board member election.

* Discussed credit hours for PLTW classes given in the high school.

Consent Agenda

1. Approved minutes of prior meetings.

2. Approved June financial reports and payment of bills.

3. Approved the renewal of liability insurance for school groups.

4. Accepted the resignation of Lisa Ontrop, High

School English Teacher.

5. Employed Marge Dilworth as Scholastic Bowl Advisor, Brent Niekamp as Weight Room Supervisor, Amy Kaiser for HS Guidance Scheduling & Registration, Joe Bruns, Assistant Athletic Director, Marie Osterholt, Softball Head Coach, and Kim Niekamp, Junior High Head Cross Country Coach for the 2007-08 school year.

6. Approved Cathy Etzler as a high school summer school teacher.

7. Employed Mike Schwieterman as a non-teaching employee for the 2007-08 school year.

8. Approved financial advances as presented.

9. Approved transfer of funds from the General Fund to the Permanent Improvement Fund.

Agenda Action Items

1. Approved modifications to the Temporary Appropriations.

2. Set lunch prices for the 2007-08 school year the same as last year – no changes.

3. Set the Elementary student fees at $50.00 and the Middle School fees at $44.00.

4. Approved HS student fees as presented.

5. Set preschool tuition fees as presented.

6. Approved the Preschool Handbook and the High School Staff Handbook.

7. Approved Tri Star Advisory Referral #103 as presented.

8. Executive Session.

9. Approved the Master Contract between the Fort Recovery Local Board of Education and the FREA.

10.&11. Adopted the Classified Salary Schedules for the next three years and approved the Administrative Salary Index.

12. Employed Sara Niekamp as a Teacher for the 2007-08 school year.
