• "To involve all stakeholders in providing a fluid, well integrated, well articulated PK-12 curriculum, embraced in a rich environment where 1) educators provide for students' varied learning styles and multiple intelligences;  2) students are full partners in designing relevant learning experiences;  3) the climate is caring and supportive;  and 4) the district-wide commitment is to high expectations and continuous improvement."

• Use a variety of teaching strategies - real life, hands-on, problem solving

• Connect, articulate State Model Curriculum PK-12

• Involve students as partners in decision-making, curriculum, projects, service, mentoring, models

• Increase meaningful parent, community involvement

• Implement technology in curriculum

• Use IAT's and provide intervention PK-12

• Increase independent reading

• Implement social skills awareness, PK-12

• Increase staff care for students

• Improve collegiality PK-12

• Use differentiation throughout Curriculum PK-12

Our district has learned the importance of collecting, analyzing, tracking, and using data.  We have learned that our action plans must be driven by data since this information is essential in assessing student achievement.
