Sponsored Projects:
There are a variety of projects that are sponsored each year by St. Henry PTO. The first Saturday in August the PTO hosts their annual School Supply Sale. There are two Box Tops for Education contests throughout the school year with the winning classes receiving a pizza party. The PTO sponsors COSI on Wheels for the students in grades K - 4. The PTO also coordinates an elementary memory book to sell to families. There is a a PTO raffle where the elementary students sell tickets with the drawing in January. Students are awarded prizes for their efforts in selling the tickets. Middle school students sell chicken dinner tickets during the month of January. Students are awarded prizes for selling tickets. The chicken dinners are served prior to a selected home basketball game in January or February. During this home basketball game a a table is set up in the Commons and red and white items are sold. The Father-Daughter Dance and Mother-Son Sports Dance are held during January and February, respectfully. We conclude the school year with a teacher appreciation luncheon in May and the selection of 2 - $500 and 2 - $250 PTO scholarships to graduating seniors.
Donations:
In addition to the activities sponsored, the PTO is committed to making donations to the following: Right to Read Week for an author/illustrator; Middle School Get Real Week; High School Scholarship Banquet; and National Honor Society Banquet. With the collection of Campbell's Soup Labels the PTO has been able to acquire balls for the playground for each elementary classroom.
Fundraisers:
The St. Henry PTO has three fundraising projects throughout the year: raffle; chicken dinners; and a red & white table at a home basketball game.
