Hein Amphitheater

On May 10, 1992 the Hein Amphitheater was dedicated to the community of Fort Recovery. The Amphitheater was made possible by a donation from the Charles J. Hein family for the construction of an outdoor performance amphitheater. The Amphitheater consists of a 40' x 25' performing stage with outdoor seating for 400 . Extreme care was taken during the planning faze to blend the construction of the amphitheater into the surroundings of an 18th Century log cabin and Fort. Since 1992 the Fort Recovery Friends of the Arts have presented over 75 summer concerts ranging from a British Brass Band to the King of Rock -n- Roll "Elvis." Annually over 4,000 people enjoy summer entertainment at it's best while at the Hein Amphitheater.
