The Wayne Trace Local School District Finance Committee met on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 6:30 a.m. in the High School Lecture Room.

            Meeting called to order by Board President Les Hockenberry.

 Report of the Treasurer

A.  Discussion of 5-year Forecast for General Fund;

Treasurer went over prior year numbers and solicited suggestions from the Board on planned spending, ADM projections and estimated revenues for preparation of the 5 year forecast.  Treasurer to incorporate suggestions and submit final forecast to ODE prior to the October 31, 2008 deadline.

                 Discussion ensued regarding gym lighting and the proposed updates discussed at the prior board meeting.

On a motion by Pat Baumle a resolution to authorize the superintendent to enter into an agreement with best price and terms for the replacement of lighting fixtures in the main high school gymnasium subject to a limit of $24,100 for the project.

                        Seconded by Les Hockenberry.

            Roll Call Vote:

                        Baumle, Hockenberry, McClure, Sinn, Stoller – All Aye

                        Motion Passed.
