G. Exciting Technology News
*Fiber optic will be run to our school district via the cable companies;
it is projected that fiber will be run to all Van Wert and Paulding
County Schools by December 1, 2006; our data transmission speed will
double and the best part is that it will not cost us anything for
installation.
*We are likely to receive an upgraded e-mail system as well; chances are
that either Exchange or World Client will be the new system installed,
and the A-site will provide information concerning both systems and
costs to install.
*NOACSC also offered to be our Instant Messaging provider, but the
decision to take advantage of this service probably merits careful
discussion and thought.
