Any other new business.

A discussion ensued regarding filling the position vs. eliminating the program as a cost saving measure.  After lengthy discussion the board was unanimous in their desire to maintain the Industrial Arts Program as a positive for the long term goals of the district.  Being a rural community this program offers our students the chance to improve on basic day-to-day skills needed in real life and to sample possible fields for future employment without a major commitment at a vocational school.
