Text Box: ALL DAY EVERY DAY KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION Wayne Trace Grover Hill Elementary has scheduled our 2009 Kindergarten Registration for Wednesday, April 1st.  We are excited about offering All Day Every Day Kindergarten next school year. If you have or know of a child that will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2009, they should register for kindergarten.  If you wish to have a child registered for kindergarten, please call Marcie at the WTGH office at 419-587-3414.  When calling, the following information will be needed: *Child’s full name, *Child’s birth date, *Child’s social security number, *Parent’s names, *Address, *Phone number.  A registration form is attached to this newsletter.

Text Box: OAT Saturday Booster Sessions The month of March brings home the realization that we are approaching the home stretch in preparing our students for the Ohio Achievement Tests.  In addition to the work our students and staff have been doing in the classrooms, we will be offering Saturday OAT Booster Sessions the four Saturdays preceding test week.  This is just another way to help our students prepare for these important tests.  Information will be send home with your children.  We encourage you to sign up for these sessions if at all possible.  This will be the fourth year we have offered these sessions.  They have been well attended and the students who have participated have recognized a positive impact on their OAT scores. Text Box: McDonald’s Peel Cards Fundraiser WTGH’s PTO is doing a fundraiser for the school that provides value for everyone.  We are selling McDonald’s Peel Cards.  The cards have several stickers for free food at McDonalds with an accompanying purchase.  The cards are being sold for $10 with the value in free food much greater than the price.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House as well as provide our PTO with funds to assist our students.
