School delays and cancellations due to
inclement weather are announced on the following radio stations, which
represent the best and quickest source of information on delay and
cancellation days:

Students and parents are asked NOT to call the schools for
updates on delay and cancellation days but to listen to one of the
above-listed radio stations. On these days especially, school telephone
lines need to be kept as free as possible for intra-district
communications and for notification of the radio and television stations
which are contacted every time a delay, update, or cancellation is
required. Additionally, bus drivers, other school personnel, and
transportation personnel from other districts need to be communicated
with continually on such days. For all these reasons, we ask for parents
and students to bear with us and to stay tuned to their favorite radio
station! Everyone’s patience, understanding, and cooperation must come
into play in a 179-square-mile school district where bad-weather
conditions and communications between buildings are less than ideal.
