Superintendent's Message

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of the Wayne Trace Local School District:

December is a very busy and special month.  One of the reasons it’s special is because we recognize and honor our Senior Citizens.  Senior Citizens Day is scheduled for December 3.  As a community we sincerely appreciate the foundation our Senior Citizens have given our students.  They have provided them a heritage based on values, strong work ethic, and commitment for a solid education.  These qualities are valued in our district.

The support from our Senior Citizens is very important in the continued success and survival of Wayne Trace Jr. Sr. High School, Wayne Trace Grover Hill Elementary, and Wayne Trace Payne Elementary.  Their actions and deeds speak louder than words when they support our school levies and attend various school events.  Our students and staff members greatly appreciate their support and involvement.  By working together we can continue to provide a positive educational environment for our current and future Wayne Trace students.  On behalf of the Wayne Trace staff and student body, we thank you for everything you have done to help our school system become a productive, successful, and positive learning environment.  By working together, we can continue to accomplish great things in this school district.

December is also special because of our Christmas Programs and Christmas Concerts at Wayne Trace Jr. Sr. High School, WTGH, and WTPE.  These programs are the best around.  We encourage all of you to attend these productions.  Miss Spinner, Mr. Lucas, Mrs. Moore, and Mrs. Wenninger, as well as the students and staffs from all three campuses devote a lot of time and energy into these programs.  The students enjoy it.  We are very proud of the effort they put into creating these successful programs.

We wish you a very happy, safe, and blessed 2010.  Thank you again for your time, help, cooperation, and commitment to excellence.

Yours in education

Brian R. Gerber
