Attention music
students: Since there is no Channel One today, the Flying Ninja contest
will be Wednesday during Channel One.
Bible study will be
today in Mrs. Parrett’s room during lunch. Come and join us for our last
hurrah of the school year!
This is a reminder of
the NHS Spring Banquet tonight at 6:30 in the cafeteria. The food list
is posted on Miss Klopfenstein’s door.
Anyone who was not
on Student Council this year, but is considering being a Student Council
rep or officer for the 2008-2009 school year must sign the sheet in Miss
Fisher’s room no later than Friday, May 16th.

Please get your graduation open house information to Camille Myers.
The Turning Point of
Paulding County is offering its 9th annual Spirit of a Young
Woman Camp. Camp will be Monday June 9th through Friday, June
13th at Camp Myeerah in Bellefontaine. If you are a girl who
will be in grade 7 through 10 for the 2008-2009 school year, you should
get ready to make new friends, eat great food, participate in many fun
activities and maybe even learn something along the way. Space is
limited to 30 girls so get your applications in soon! The deadline for
registration is May 16th. If you want to know more about the
camp, please pick up a brochure in the office.

Sports
The football meeting scheduled for this morning
will be pushed back to tomorrow during Channel One.
The girls’ track team finished in 3rd
place and the boys were 6th at the Wayne Trace Relays last
night. Finishing first in their events for the girls was the 800 sprint
medley relay team of Kacee Hockenberry, Becky Hicks, Sara Priest, and
Jenna Stoller, and the 800- and 400-meter relay teams of Kacee
Hockenberry, Taylor Baumle, Becky Hicks, and Sara Priest, and the
weightgirls’ relay team of Miranda Dobbelaere, Lauren Holtsberry, Nikkie
Lay, and Kelly Janka. The high school track teams are back in action
Friday for the GMC meet at Ayersville. |
