| Sectionals Congratulations to the Lady Raider’s golf team on finishing 3rd in the sectional tournament yesterday at Kalida. The girls just missed qualifying as a team by one spot. Findlay and Defiance finished 1st and 2nd. Kacee Hockenberry and Shelby Critten qualified to the district by finishing 1st and 3rd. Kacee shot a 92 and Shelby shot a 94. They will play in Findlay next Tuesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course at 9:00 a.m. |

girl golfers 2nd at Willow Bend The Wayne Trace Lady Raiders golf team finished second in the Willow Bend Invitational held at Willow Bend Country Club. Greenville won the tournament with a score of 185, while the Lady Raiders finished with a score of 206. Wapakoneta was third with a score of 210. Top individual golfers were Deanna Ray of Celina, match medalist with a 41; Alex Hetzler of Greenville, 43; Kendra Rekart of Delphos St. John’s, 45; Kara Sanders of Greenville, 45; and Amanda Hetzler of Greenville, 47. Adams The Wayne Trace girls’ golf team defeated South Adams (Ind.) High School, 209-212, at Wabash Valley Golf Club in Monroe, Ind. Medalist for the match was South Adams’ Amber Melick, who shot a 41 on the day. The Lady Raiders had the next three scores, though, as Gabrielle Hook carded a 48, Shelby Critten at 50 and Kacee Hockenberry a 55.
