Jr. High Boys Basketball

Congratulations to the 7th grade boys’ basketball team on winning the 7th grade tournament by beating Edgerton 38 – 30.

 

Wayne Trace vs. Paulding

The Raiders split a pair of games with Paulding in action on Thursday night.

Wayne Trace’s seventh graders moved to 5-0 on the year with a 39-28 win over the Panthers. Grady Gudakunst paced the Raiders with 13 points with Ryan Wannemacher adding ten. Caleb Mead (one), Jorddan Childs (four), Dalton Sinn (five), Zach Hermiller (three), Nick McClain (two) and Brian Myers (one) rounded out the Raider scorers.

Foor led the Panthers with a dozen points with Doster adding eight. Bollenbacher (two), Bager (two), Reinhart (one), Strayer (one) and Schroeder (two) completed the Panther scorers.

Paulding captured the eighth grade contest by a score of 49-41.

Gawronski topped the Panthers with 13 markers while Kyle Mohr and Jason Koenn added ten each. Arellano (two), Adams (five), Burnett (seven) and Hatcher (two) also scored for Paulding.

Kim Bickford bucketed 16 points for Wayne Trace with Keegan Olwin chipping in nine. Zach Nantz (three), Austin Speice (five), Gavin Wiseman (two), Dalton Coburn (four) and Nate McClain (two) also hit the scoring column for Wayne Trace.

The 7th grade boys’ basketball team lost a close game to Ayersville. The score was 27 – 26.

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team defeated Ayersville last night with a score of 46 – 28.
