Diagnostic
Test Analysis Charts
Draft*
These attached charts were developed to help teachers
use
the diagnostic tests to drive instruction in their classrooms.
These charts are the “class picture” of the data
collected. Item numbers and the
corresponding grade level indicators are listed along the top of the chart.
There is a chart next to each form to help teachers understand the code used
for the grade level indicators.
Students’ names are to be listed along that left hand side. The teacher shades in the boxes on the chart
to indicate which items the student has completed correctly. By looking at a complete chart teachers can
easily determine which grade level indicators deserve whole class
attention. Additionally, this chart can
be useful in forming small groups for intervention. If a teacher were to “hide” the names of the students this chart
could also be used during parent teacher conferences.
These
charts are used to break down the performance of individual students
by
grade level indicators.
*These charts are under development and at the present time are in
draft form. Please feel free to use
these charts. However, you should be aware
that they might be some errors. Please let me know if you find any errors or
if you have suggestions for improvement.
