Kindergarten

Kim Conkle (left) teaches morning kindergarten and afternoon "beginnergarten." Lynett Lang teaches two sessions of half day kindergarten.

First Grade

First grade teachers, Janet Kominek, Andrea Walden and Barb Wymer, spend most of their day teaching students to enjoy reading.

Second Grade

Second grade teachers, Joan Bowers, Mary Conkle, and Denise Whiteleather, work together as a team.

Third Grade

Third grade teachers, Susan Schemmer, Chris Ridge, and Becky Lucas, are always busy planning together.

Fourth Grade

Fourth grade teachers, Ken Gerig, Joyce Bauer and Julie Coate, work hard on meeting grade level expectations.

Fifth Grade

Fifth and sixth grade teachers departmentalize at Powell, with homeroom teachers providing instruction in the language arts area. Specifically, Cindy Coppler (left) teaches social studies, Michelle Flick (seated) teaches science, and Nancy Grimm (right) teaches math to all fifth graders.

Sixth Grade

Brooke Forsyth (left) teaches social studies,Kim Glandorff (center) teaches math, and Karen Dishong teaches science to all sixth graders.
