The session covers some of the getting started with and using databases with demonstrations of Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB (written by the same person that wrote MySQL) and a few uses for those. Both products are available to use at no cost.

Databases (specifically relational databases) drive many of the applications we use daily. They are an excellent tool to central data in a structured way then provide for retrieval and analysis of that data.
